Liber: The Free One; The Roman god of fine drinks and good times. Liber & Co sets out to make cocktail creation as accessible, educational and rewarding as possible. Introducing themselves to the mixology category through cocktail syrups and cordials, Liber & Co set out to expand their brand architecture in order to look beyond their established syrups and cordials to consider future offerings, such as bitters, liqueurs and beyond. Tasked with refreshing the Liber & Co brand identity and packaging system, I created a brand language system that created room for further innovation while maintaining a fine balance with their anachronistic sensibility without leaning into gimmickry. This was accomplished through use of color, content hierarchy, typography, iconography and material usage.
